High-density Polyethylene uniaxial-geogrid
High-density Polyethylene (HDPE) uniaxial-geogrid is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or PE, heated then extruded into sheets. HDPE or PE geogrid offers high tensile strength and rigidity. The geogrids mesh and soil interlock, forming an efficient stress transfer mechanism. This allows local loads to spread to a wider area of soil, reducing local damage stresses and improving the project's service life.

HDPE uniaxial geogrid features a high tensile strength, independent accreditation, strong rigid apertures, UV Stabilised material, no welded joints and multi facing options.

HDPE is non-toxic and odorless with a crystallinity of 80-90%, a softening point of 125-135°C and a use temperature up to 100°C. It has better hardness, tensile strength and creep than low-density polyethylene.
